Panorama View Parcel Subdivision Project: El Dorado County, California.
Conducted a biological assessment and analysis
of a 12 acre parcel proposed for subdivision into 9 parcels. Prepared
biological assessment report and assisted in the preparation of
the initial study checklist for submission as part of the parcel
subdivision application.
Martinez Gun Club Wetland Delineation and
Permitting Project: Martinez, California.
Managed and conducted a wetland delineation
and habitat assessment of the Martinez Gun Club to determine the
extent of disturbance to a diked salt marsh habitat by unauthorized
filling activities (the client had filled 4.03 acres of salt marsh
wetlands without first obtaining environmental permits and clearances
from local, state, and federal regulatory agencies). Handled sensitive
species surveys. Prepared and submitted after-the-fact permit applications
to the RWQCB, USACE, CDFG, USFWS, and BCDC to obtain agency approval
for the project. Conducted consultations with the USACE, USFWS,
RWQCB, CDFG, and BCDC.

Kemiron Environmental Due Diligence and Planning Project: Southern
California.
Conducted a regulatory review and permitting
feasibility study for a proposed chemical production facility within
the Colton Sand Dune System, an endangered habitat system in southern
California. (The proposed project had the potential to affect the
Delhi Sands flower-loving fly as well as a number of other sensitive
species.) Reviewed the regulatory history and recent environmental
issues on other high-profile projects in the area. Conducted a permitting
feasibility study to determine the likelihood of the project being
approved.

Orwood Resort Campground Renovation Project: Contra Costa County,
California.
Prepared a biological assessment and wetland
delineation for the proposed modernization of this campground resort.
Obtained a Section 404 Army Corps of Engineers Individual permit,
RWQCB Section 401 Water Quality Certification Permit, and conducted
formal consultations with the US Fish and Wildlife Service regarding
threatened and endangered species.

Heritage Partners Phase I Due Diligence
Project: Southern and Central California.
Completed Phase I environmental site assessments
of thirty-two strawberry grower and producer properties in central
and southern California that Heritage Partners wished to purchase.
Conducted environmental regulatory compliance reviews and extensive
record reviews of facilities to determine site history and identify
potential environmental concerns. Reviewed aerial photographs, building
permits, city directories, chain-of-title forms, on-site environmental
records, and regulatory documents from local, state, and federal
agencies. Conducted interviews with current and past facility employees.
Complied and interacted with local regulatory agencies.

Phase I Due Diligence Assessments: Northeastern United States.
Completed Phase I environmental site assessments
for a number of property developers in New York, New Jersey, and
Connecticut. Investigations included prior industrial/brown fields
sites, farms, and production facilities. Conducted environmental
regulatory compliance reviews and extensive record reviews to determine
site history and identify potential environmental concerns. Reviewed
aerial photographs, building permits, city directories, chain-of-title
documents, on-site records, and regulatory documents from local,
state, and federal agencies. Conducted interviews with current and
past facility employees. Complied and interacted with local regulatory
agencies.
